For me, one of the best parts of biochemistry were the small groups. They gave us an early exposure to sifting through large amounts of information, figuring out what was important, and having to present that info in front of our classmates. I also just learned the stuff a lot better in that environment as opposed to reading it all. It is pretty demanding for faculty to have but so many of these things...but...if they could find a way to make it happen- they're definitely worth the time.
